We offer MANY different opportunities for youth in our community. Our Senior High Youth consist of any youth in 7-12 grades. Our Flagship event is our First Sunday Youth Gathering that runs every First Sunday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at St. Paul from 7:00pm until 8:30 pm. At this event we provide food and snacks for the youth, take time to plan upcoming events, spend time in the Word, and enjoy each other in fellowship. ANY youth in the community is invited to attend.

Other events we have had over the past year include Late Nights at church, movie nights, a Holiday dinner, concerts, camp outs, etc. We try to keep busy.

Our single largest event in 2013 was our trip to the Navajo Evengelical Lutheran Mission at Rock Point, Arizona where we spent a week putting on a Vacation Bible School, completed work projects, learned about the Navajo culture, and made many new friends. It was a great trip! To learn more about this go to the Navajo Mission Page.  In 2014 we will have a retreat to Lake Cumberland that is open to youth in the area-details and dates will be forthcoming.  If you have questions please feel free to contact Phil Riegle at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2013 Youth Mission Trip

Our 2013 Youth Mission Trip was a huge success!  Thanks so much to everyone who was a part of it and to those who prayed for us, provided funding, etc.  Our events averaged 100 participants per day-the most we have ever had by far! What a great blessing it was to those of us who attended.  A big thanks goes out to all the adult chaperons and Pastor Steve for making the trip possible.  Also, our youth on the trip were very well-behaved and an inspiration to many.  Great job!

We will begin planning for our 10 year anniversary trip in 2015 and as details become available we will post them here and on our facebook page.

Contact Me

Any youth that needs to talk or needs help with something or just needs some advice is ALWAYS welcome to call or email me no matter the time of day.

Also, I am now keeping Office Hours at the church from 3:15 pm until at least 5:00 pm on Wednesdays.  If you need / want to chat, head on over to the church and pull up a chair.  If you need help with homework, I can try to help there too.  (But calculus and physics would not be things you should ask for my help.
